Addressing the Heart

We Have THIS Hope
In the midst of all the mayhem, Colossians 3 keeps coming to mind reminding me to set my mind on things above. I’ve been thinking how important it is to remember that as believers in Christ, we really are strangers here. An Old Journal’s Revelation
My recent connection with some old childhood friends has been amazing. It has caused me to dig up a bit of my past…looking through old photos, journals, and letters. And it’s been a bit of an enlightening adventure. 😉
A Storm and a Nap
The older I get, the more I realize that life is full of unknowns. There’s a lot that goes on around me every day that seems scary and threatening in some way.
The Depth of Kindness
As most of you know, I am a lover of words. And since words are only as good as their meanings, I am always delighted to study the meanings behind even everyday words that seem so obvious.
We all know what it means to be kind, don’t we? Many of us akin it to being nice and pleasant. But really, kindness is so much more.
Living in God’s Love
The love of God…everyone talks about it, but few really live in it. A wise counselor once told me that you speak out of what you believe in your head but you live out of what you believe in your heart.
